This complete gut renovation for a downtown design firm maintains the industrial character of the surrounding neighborhood thru a series of exposed metal conduit, wood studs, beaded tin ceilings and roughly painted brick walls. Oversized sliding wood doors, reincarnated from their previous existence as desktops, frame openings to the front and back rooms with a central circulation corridor framed by low bookcases.

"Here was the plot: A flying saucer creature names Zog arrived on Earth to explain how wars could be prevented and how cancer could be cured. He brought the information from Margo, a planet where the natives conversed by means of farts and tap dancing."
